1. The Premise

Terraform Global India Pvt. Ltd., part of a leading global renewable energy conglomerate, was seeking to enhance and digitize its HSSE training infrastructure across various project sites. Recognizing the need for consistent, scalable, and engaging training content, the company commissioned CORE EHS to develop a series of 11 animated e-learning modules, each designed to address different aspects of Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE).

The engagement, valued at ₹4.2 lakhs + 18% GST, was awarded with an ambitious goal—modernize safety training while ensuring high learner retention and multi-site adaptability.

2. The Challenges

Terraform needed a solution to overcome the following training hurdles:

• Disparity in safety induction and training quality across operational zones.
• Over-reliance on PowerPoint-based and instructor-led formats which led to retention rates below 50%.
• Limited standardization and tracking of safety content consumed by contract and permanent employees.
• Requirement to launch a digital-first training initiative aligned with audit-readiness and ESG goals.

Additionally, safety leadership noted that more than 60% of their workforce consisted of contractors, for whom visual and language-adapted content was vital.

3. The Solution

CORE EHS created an end-to-end 11-module HSSE animation-based e-learning program, with content segmented for clarity, scalability, and visual impact.

Project Highlights:

• Each module featured high-fidelity 2D/3D visuals, real-world scenarios, and dynamic character simulations.
• Topics included Fire Safety, Chemical Handling, LOTO, Emergency Response, PPE, Confined Space Entry, and more.
• Multilingual voiceover integration ensured 95% workforce coverage.
• Built-in assessments and completion tracking enabled easy LMS integration and reporting.
• All modules were SCORM-compliant and built for seamless deployment across multiple digital platforms.

Delivery was made within 30 days, including scripting, storyboarding, animation, voiceover, and client reviews.

4. Resulting Benefits

The roll-out of the animated e-learning modules led to transformational outcomes:

• Training consistency improved to 100%, removing regional content discrepancies.
• Knowledge retention scores increased by 58%, based on internal post-training evaluations.
