Safety Induction Movie Development for Township Construction – Adani M2K Projects LLP

  1. The Premise

Adani M2K Projects LLP, a prominent joint venture in the real estate infrastructure sector, is responsible for delivering premium township developments in NCR regions such as Gurgaon. With multiple contractors and diverse labor teams operating simultaneously across sectors 102–102A, a unified safety induction process was essential.

To enhance safety communication and meet compliance across multilingual, multi-tiered site staff, Adani M2K partnered with CORE EHS to develop a concise and visually compelling Safety Induction Movie tailored to its township construction ecosystem.

  1. The Challenges

  • Frequent labor movement created gaps in uniform safety briefings, with over 30% of new workers requiring follow-up inductions.
  • Printed SOPs and verbal briefings failed to capture the attention of an audience with varying literacy levels.
  • The induction process lacked visual engagement and scalability, putting pressure on safety trainers and project managers.
  • There was a requirement for a high-impact video under 10 minutes, suitable for daily screenings and third-party contractor briefings.
  1. The Solution

CORE EHS delivered a Safety Induction Movie, produced as per Service Order #5700294425, valued at ₹1,57,500 + 18% GST (₹1,85,850 total). The project scope included:

  • Custom shoot and scripting based on the actual site environment and work activities at Sector 102–102A in Gurgaon.
  • Animation and video content focused on:
    • Entry/exit protocols
    • PPE usage
    • Material handling safety
    • On-site traffic movement
    • Emergency and evacuation procedures
  • Delivered in broadcast-ready format for satellite screening or induction room playback.
  • Designed for scalable use across multiple phases and future site extensions.

Despite COVID-era restrictions, CORE EHS completed the project in a two-month timeframe, from February 17 to April 16, 2021.

  1. Resulting Benefits

The deployment of the Safety Induction Movie significantly enhanced site readiness and safety outcomes:

  • Induction time reduced by over 40%, improving worker deployment speed without compromising safety understanding.
  • 94% of inducted workers reported better retention of site safety instructions when presented via video versus manual induction.
  • Incidents related to PPE non-compliance dropped by 28% in the first quarter post-deployment.
  • Enabled the EHS team to standardize training delivery across contractor groups, reducing the need for repeated instruction.
  • Internal audit reports cited the induction movie as a “model asset for orientation standardization.”

This project with Adani M2K Projects LLP underscores CORE EHS’s ability to bridge real estate execution with high-impact safety content, turning mandatory training into a strategic tool for compliance and culture-building.
